Does Atlassian provide training on their products?

e.g. If a customer intends to implement Jira over his company, and he wants to get all colaborators prepared to use that tool, does atlassian offer some kind of training?

Atlassian University is coming soon (this sounds like the best solution for the situation you described).

Until then, there is private, paid webinar training put on by Atlassian staff.

Currently I'm not satisfied in the way that training is provided. Our requiremet is to provide our business clients with a training, and they come from various organizations.

I hope if Atlassian could allow a defined number of external users to be added at a reasonable cost, or any other sustainable model for both Atlassian and us.

You can also find a bunch of tutorial videos on our YouTube channel -

Here are all the Confluence Tutorial videos as an example:

It is aimed at admins and not end users, but if you are looking for in-depth detail on JIRA, O'Reilly publishes:

Practical JIRA Administration

CustomWare provides the product training ( and users purchase it through the Atlassian website. Atlassian does not provide professional services other than this, but our expert Sales Engineers are available by email ( and phone (+1 415.701.1110) in San Francisco.

Customware training was very good for our team. We had confluence, jira, greenhopper and other training. Good pace and quality.

JIRA 4 Essentials is available on Amazon and the publisher (PacktPub) right now - >> includes summary outline.

352 pages of JIRA Admin help by AppFusions co-founder and JIRA Guru Patrick Li

I just want to give a thumbs up for JIRA 4 Essentials. It was very helpful in helping me to get started and focus on what was important in configuring the platform for project use. It's great for new Jira Administrators.

Atlassian does provide training for most of our producs. Please see the page below for more information:

We also have an extensive network of partners, some of which offer more in-depth training courses. You can locate a partner using the tool below:

Yes - would love to hear an update on Atlassian University

Otherwise, many partners offer training or mentoring, and sometimes the second is more useful - since custom to the companies' users and implementor' specific business needs - not just JIRA outa the box.

Few customers stop at outa-the-box in my experience - and imho, JIRA is a journey - not a one-time destination. Grow it with your company.

One more thing - you might want to check out our Ninja guides for Confluence and GreenHopper. A great, fun way to get started with our most popular products.

and Atlassian Dragons on the whole Atlassian Suite - and integrating them - but really end to end understanding of WHY all of them. For devs OR biz people ..

Clearvision provide various training courses and delivery methods, including self paced elearning. This is very cost effective way of getting lots of users up to speed with a tool.

Hi Everyone,

As a Belgian, beer-lover and home brewer, beer is one of my great passions. I love the fact that with just a few ingredients (usually just water, hop and malt) you can create so many different tastes...
