Hi,

Every time I create a Project I am having to keep manually adding components.

Is there a way I can setup default components for every project I create?

Thanks

Mark

Another solution is JIRA Command Line Interface copyComponents that copies (adds, updates) components from one project to another so you can keep them in sync.

Try this:

  1. Download the groovyrunner plugin (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.onresolve.jira.groovy.groovyrunner/version/553).
  2. Create a project called Template and add whatever base components, etc you wish for each new project to have.
  3. Use the built in copy project script available in groovyrunner.
  4. Profit.

You can have multiple project templates if you so desire.
