A user has a customized JIRA theme for her firefox browser, for example she has set her textarea to dark grey. When she uses JIRA, she cannot see the content in her textarea. Her textarea remains dary grey and the text matches. Is there a way to resolve this?
Removing themes may lead to problems for people with disabilities. There is a 4.5 year old JIRA issue concerning this (JRA-16078) . Atlassian has admitted to break the "UI rule of thumb". "Barrier free" is sadly not important for Atlassian, but only "an edge case".
Yes, get them to remove the theme, or adjust it for better contrast.
