Customer field not showing in filter gadget

Hi There

I have created a customer field which is a Select List. We have called it sub-priority with options of 1-20 and 99. Problem I have is that it will not show as a column in a filter gadget. I can add the sub priority field as a column but when I save the change it will not show it in the filter gadget view. If I select to edit the columns again it shows but only in Edit mode. I wonder if this is a bug or am I doing something wrong.

Maybe it's the context. I've seen such a behaviour with fields that didn't have a global context...
