Create link between JIRA and Confluence

We are using LDAP (Microsoft) for both products, my username/password is the same on both applications. I created the link from JIRA and then tried to link to Confluence and I got the error on the attached screenshot.

I have a issue open with Atlassian Support. Screen shot not attached here because of its sensitivity.

Hi Jason, can you please try to attach the screen shot one more time? Have you tried contacting Atlassian Support to see if this is something that they can help out with?

Additional information:

There is some linkage going on, as page updates in Confluence are appearing in JIRA.
And, I can create JIRA macros in Confluence, but only for issues that I have looked at recently.
