Copy HTML Source to Confluence WIki Mark up

Rahul Gulati October 2, 2013

I am trying to copy HTML source from ZenDesk editor to Confluence Wiki mark up. After I copy and paste it in the mark up and go to Rich-text, it does not take effect. Do I need UWC or it should work automatically

Sure.

I go to Zendesk SUpport editor and click HTML source. Copy and paste the content.

<p>Note: This is a work in progress.</p>

Hi,

I tested this code in my local Confluence. In order to have this HTML codes in your Confluence, the modoule of "HTML" in Confluence HTML Macro must be enabled. I think it is best if you ask the admin user of the Confluence to do enable this module, and then you will be able to have the HTML codes in your Confluence pages.

@Hossein,

I do not have Admin rights. I tried going into the editor,, Insert Macro>External Content>HTML Macro, and then oaste the HTML source content. It does not work, output shows text with <p>tags,h1, br, etc respectively. Could it be because of predefined syntax followed by Confluence, that does not sync?

I want to have a treestructure appear like - ordered and unordered list. - 1. <txt>

2. <txt> and so on

Can I craete my own macros?

Rahul,

I think you have to add the HTML macro to the page first, then add the HTML to that.

Cheers.
