Control Video when linking to attached video files

Chris Robinson November 21, 2013

We are using Confluence on Demand. I've a created pages for training with MP4 Videos attached to the page. Then, on the page, I link to each of the attached videos.

When a user clicks on the link, the video begins playing immediately. The user can start or pause the video but cannot fast forward or rewind the video (if they need to hear a part of it again). Is there a way to allow a user to do this as they are watching the video?

Thanks!

Thanks William. I've voted for https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-30057 and I'm watching it as well.

Hi Chris,

Actually our Multimedia macro doesn't have such feature. That's why I've raised the following feature request as you can see here:

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-30057

I would strongly suggest that you vote on this issue to increase its popularity and add it to your watchlist for future updates.

I hope this helps.
