Confluence and JIRA are in same server and the login screwed out

Pangianto Pang October 14, 2012

Hi Support,

I have Confluence and JIRA on a same host with different port no.

They are using SSO login function. But apparently, they cannot be logged in at a same time.

One will log out another when the later application is logged in.

Is this something can be configured? Is the session need to be configured in some way to let them have different session pool or something?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Hi Panguin,

It is necessary for Confluence and JIRA to have a context path to avoid such issue. Please refer to this knowledge base article for detailed information on this:

Hope it helps.

You need to configure Confluence and JIRA to have unique context paths, or else they will overwrite each other's session cookie - https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAKB/User+is+Logged+Out+of+JIRA+after+Confluence+Login
