Confluence Plugins?

Dan Murphy May 7, 2012

One of our users asked that I enable the following Atlassian plugin in our OnDemand version of Confluence.

Confluence Source Editor version 1.0.3

Confluence 4.1.5 - 4.2.1 | Stable | Unsupported | Plugin System Two

It appears (from my Confluence Administration page) that I can add user plugins to our OnDemand instance; following the link to the Atlassian Plugin Exchange I can find the requested plugin.

It also appears (from http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/AOD/Configuring+Confluence+Plugins) that I can NOT add plugins to our AOD instance.

So which is it, and if it's yes you can install a new plugin not in the system list, how?

In OnDemand, installation of plugins is one of the restricted functions. Therefore, it is not possible to install the Source Editor plugin. You might want to learn more about the plugin policy from this page.
