Cloud to On Premise - Active Directory Integration

I'd like to learn about the process of taking an On Demand service and turning it into an On Premise service. Specifically, the difference between the On Demand instance and the On Premise instance will be that the On Premise instance will use Active Directory for authentication.

So my question is in two parts:

1) How seamless is the On Demand -> On Premise migration.

2) How do we switch from standard authentication to Active Directory authentication for existing users.

Hello there,

If you make use of the correct version of On Premise JIRA/Confluence/Other, you'll not find any difficulty on this migration. Regarding Active Directory authentication, just pay attention to create the necessary accounts/alias, to match the existing usernames with the usernames on Active Directory. They must ever match.

If you need any further assistance with this migration, please don't hesitate in raise a support ticket on href="https://support.atlassian">
