Hi, we are trying to use JIRA+Greenhopper to planify our Scrum sprints and we are having problems to planify realistic workloads.
The scenario is that we have several internal products (projects) each one with its own backlog and a shared team of developers. At the beginning of the week, we create a new Sprint per project and we assign issues to it. The problem is that the developers are shared among the projects and some developers end with a planned workload of 100hours and others with 20hours.
Is there any easy way to check the workload per developer (sum of estimated (or remaining) time of all the tasks in active sprints assigned to a particular developer)? Does it make sense? How is other people planning when developers are shared among different projects?
Thanks,
Jose Luis.
Did you try the gantt chart plugin. Yu can do resource planning on it. You get to see how much workload a developer has on a certain day and distribute/re-assign work accordingly.
