Changing an open issue view

Jason Ried January 3, 2012

Hi all - I've been setting up our project in Greenhopper and need to know what to change the default fields of an open issue. I have been able to change the fields for "new issue", "resolve issue" and "workflow issue" however the general open view shows fields I don't want. I've looked everywhere, just can't seem to do it.

We're starting off with a very basic scrum approach and then adding as soon as we're ready to - so it is important I manage to do this.

thanks,

Jason

You can do this by managing Field Configurations e.g. show or hide fields. See http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Specifying+Field+Behaviour

If you want the same changes such as hiding a field for all screens, it may be easier to make the change in the applicable field configuration than on individual screens.
