Changed Base URL and now can't connect.

I installed Confluence 4.3.5 on a Windows & system with a PostgreSQL 9.0.11 DB. Everything worked fine as localhost:8090. I changed the Base URL from the Admin panel in the UI (https://seanswiki.dyndns-wiki.com). Now I can't seem to connect at all. What do I do? What I want when I finish is a URL of https://seanswiki.dyndns-wiki.com (port 443?).

Can you help me with some step-by-step instructions?

What files do I need to modify? Where are they located? What elements in the files?... etc??

My internet host at home is ATT U-verse and they use a 2-wire gateway which has it's on firewall. Turns out that what I needed to do was poke a port 80 hole for my server machine. Once I did that everything was fine.

When you install Confluence on a server at home and it's behind an ATT gateway/firewall make sure that you have opened the appropriate port(s) on the firewall. Some firewalls may require that you open the port(s) for a specific machine (internal IP address).

Thanks for all the great answers. However, none of them were the solution.

In order to access Confluence via https, you have to edit the server.xml to connect to 8443.

Hi. Your confluence still responds on localhost:8090 right? I wonder why you use a dyndns. You host your confluence at home ? You will need a vhost or proxy config to tell the webserver where to route the request and make your confluence answer to it
