This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Delete a repository
The doc says:
Right now, there is no way to edit or remove an existing redirect. The current work around is to create a new repository with the same name as the one which you redirected. Then, delete this new repository without providing a redirect URL.
However, you get this error: Repository with this Name and Owner already exists.
Likewise, facing the same issue. Would prefer not to have to create a new account solely to manage the edge-case of overriding redirects. Is there an official (updated) answer for this?
Cheers
I managed to work around the issue by create an identically named repository under a different account and transferring ownership to the account with the redirected repo. A bit of a detour, but it works.
A fix for this would be most welcome though.
