Can't run Tomcat behind IIS

Leonard Shackelford December 28, 2012

I installed confluence (and could access via http: localhost:8090

I installed IIS7

Installed connector

Connected IIS7 and Tomcat but no luck.

Followed instructions here:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONFKB/How+To+Setup+Confluence+with+IIS

Then used this page:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONFKB/Connecting+Confluence+with+IIS+7

I don't see startup errors in confluence log.

A page opens up to empty C: Confluence folder.

I can pull up a test default.htm page in default web site (aka IIS appears to be working).

It 'acts' like the handoff between IIS and Tomcat is not occurring.

What should the default direcotory and document be for confluence virtual directory?

Any suggested problem areas I should look at?

I'm using MS Server 2008

tomcat-connectors-1.2.37-windows-x86_64-iis

I have attached Confluence Logs and Isapi_redirect logs

I used document here to use microsofts application request routing tool to pass confluence tomcat requests to tomcat. I have not tested all confluence functionality, but initial testing is good.

Thank you Danny!

I just did more testing. The Application Request Routing works like a champ. I have full Confluence functionality and route all request to a .NET site on same server to IIS. As most Admins, I like working with the the same product stack but confluence is so dang awesome I have to add tomcat to the mix :)
