Can't assosiate workflow with workflowscheme

Fré de Vries November 14, 2012

did this when i first installed Jira/greenhopper, but since this seems very unlogical to me, after 2 hours of searching and trying, still not happy

I wanted to change my workflow, but this cannot be done while its active? So copied workflow from Sibben2 to Sibben3. Changed the workflow. Then wanted to associate it with workflowscheme. This can also not be done when active? So copied SibbenWorkFlow2 to SibbenWorkFlow3 and now want to associate Sibben3 with SibbenWorkFlow3. and use it as my workflow and scheme. Cannot find out how.....

Hi Fré,

That is correct. There are some limitations when editing an active workflow. Since you already have created a new workflow, my suggestion in this case is to create a new workflow scheme as well, associate it to the Sibben3 workflow and then associate this brand new workflow scheme to the projects you want.

Hope it helps!

Cheers,

Clarissa.
