Can't Advanced Search by FixVersion / Affects Version in New Project

History is that a new project was created and issues from existing projects moved into the new project.

Now when we try and do and advanced search and want to include the FixVersion or AffectsVersion no records are returned.

When you perform a simple search and select the project and then a Fix / Affects version this works fine but when you switch to advanced search the the Fix / Affects Version ID is displayed.

This issue happens when you are changing from Simple Search to Advance Search in the Issue Navigator. This is actually a known bug reported in JRA-27462

The main cause of this was user error. The guy who did the migration had put white space infront of the versions in the new project. Good to know about this but though.
