Can resolution time gadget subtract the time issues was in "Awaiting customer response" state?

Resolution time - This is effectively average time over all issues
resolved - date of creation. Is there a way ( adding a piece of code in its
source code) to eliminate the time when the issue was in "Awaiting Customer
Response" time?

I need this as well, as it's not giving me an accurate time.

Is there a solution for this? I need it as well.
