Can a Bamboo server build .NET projects if it's on Ubuntu Server?

I'm looking to set up a Bamboo server (so Bamboo Download version) that will build .NET and Java projects. I would prefer to use Ubuntu, but will it create problems when it's time to build .NET projects with MSBuild? Is it feasible, hassle-free? Do I have to swith to a Windows-based OS?

You might be able to use mono:

Or you could deploy a bamboo agent to a windows machine and let that agent build all your .NET project.

Best regards,

Peter
