Can I make a standard issue type ALSO a sub-task issue type?

I have a standard issue type called "Bug" and I want to have a sub-task issue type called "Bug" as well. I can't create a new sub-task issue type with the same name (I get an error). Can an issue type pull double duty and be used as both standard and sub-task?

Thanks!

No. They must be distinct.

Hi,

I don't know if this would make sense. What would you expect, if you make a query and ask for type "bug" ? The standard type ? Your sub-task type ?

Apart from that, I doubt, that it is technically possible.

Best regards

Thomas
