Big problem with JIRA interface

I was trying to add to JIRA some date information for SLA. But unfortunately I put this code in the description field of a custom field and I didn't close the HTML component. Right now everything in the custom field section is hidden. I cannot also delete the custom field. Sombody can help me?

We had a similar problem. We had to clean it up in the database and then restart the JIRA instance to get it pick up the change.
