This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Setting up your service desk
Cannot locate project type "Basic Service Desk" and in turn cannot configure "Request Type" within the desk. I can only find "Issue Type"
Please advise on how to open a service desk project and thank you for your time.
So you can't see this, right?
Probably is a bug or not available in your version. I have used the cloud version and it's normal, I only click on create project and I can see it.
And about request type, the step by step is:
So if you can't see you don't have permission or it's a bug.
