Automation for Jira: Change comment submitted by SCCS

We have a need to automatically replace text in a comment written by our integrated SCCS.

Can this be done using Automation for Jira? maybe something else?

If it is not possible to change the existing comment, can we write a new comment using the last comment made but with the changes?
