Autofill email field from LDAP?

Hi,

i m running Jira 4.3 and updating create issue screen with custom fields. I am connected to LDAP (holds information like email, phone etc.) and i would like to propagate those information automaticly just by filling up first field (name).

Is any way how to do it simply ?

mmm, LDAP support is in progress for JEMH 1.3 (only JIRA 5.x, sorry, but topcial). This currently is only used for user creation purposes and email disambiguation, however, I like the idea of being able to map LDAP fields on creation, chalked up as https://studio.plugins.atlassian.com/browse/JEMH-1080
