Any demerit will be caused if increases JIRA ticket attachment size from 10MB to 50MB?

JIRA attachment size is 10.00MB as default. If increase it to 50.00MB, any demerit

or performance loss etc, will be caused? Any impact?

It should work, but it's not a great direction to take JIRA or Confluence. Backups and upgrades become harder, and since threads are used for longer with large attachments, other users will see some small reduction in performance. Better to use an external file storage service such as GDrive or Box
