Amending fields shown in the work log tab panel of Jira

I would like to amend the fields that are shown when the work log is selected.

(issuetabpanels:worklog-tabpanel)

I need a couple of custom fields to be shown in the summary

Is this possible?

You won't be able to do that without plugins. The easy thing to do would be to hide the current panel and implement a new one with the new fields etc in a plugin!

Frankly, I haven't used one that gives custom fields there. Have a look at the plugin exchange.
