Agile and client view

What's the best way to configure greenhopper permissions so clients can see agile board for their particular projects but not have editing access.

With some clients we have a very collaborative approach to development and would like them to be able to see the issues in a sprint and progress... they don't need to see hours spent and internal communication

We're using Ondemand for the moment

Permissions in GreenHopper (both for viewing and editing) are inherited from the general Jira settings, so if your clients cannot modify Issues in Jira, they won't be able to do so from a Rapid Board either.

As for hiding comments from them, you can simply restrict them to a specific group or Project Role, depending on your current permissions settings. When adding or editing a comment, you can click the padlock icon and select a visibility level. When it comes to time logging, though, it's not possible to hide it using Jira's built-in functionality - you'd need an add-on for that, and as you're on OnDemand, that wouldn't be an option. Behind the firewall, you could use the Field Security Plugin.
