Adding test case workflow to current project without destroying the default/existing workflow(s)

Hi, I want to add the Test Case Management workflow to my allready existing project with both Jira default workflow and another company spesific workflow.

Will this cause trouble for the allready existsing workflows?

You won't be able to add your new issue type to your existing workflow scheme so what I do is create a new workflow scheme with a "- Rev A" at the end. I simply copy the existing one to accomplish this. Then I add in my new issuetype and workflow. I can now assing the new workflow scheme to the project. Everything that is already there is unaffected, and the new workflow is available for use.
