Adding a Forum plugin

I have a group that wants to add a Forum Plugin to our Jira/Confluence/Atalssian system. I was sent a link to something called Community Bubbles. I've seen some comments about that that were not all very positive.

Is Community Bubbles something known around here? Is there some other Forum plugin available, whether in Jira or Confluence? Is a plugin like that easily insertable into our online Atlassian OnDemand system?

It's a plugin by Adaptavist. Personally, I think it works well, but I don't think Confluence lends itself to forums, and Bubbles is doing the best it can within a framework that isn't really designed for it.
