Adding Confluence to an existing Jira account

Huong Nguyen November 18, 2013

My team is already using Jira but I'd like to use Confluence as well. How do I link or sign up to Confluence and link it to my Jira account?

Hi Huong,

You can do this by creating Application links between them and when you do that, please chose the option which says they both use same username and create the link.

You can also go into JIRA User server in JIRA and Confluence to it with the password and the IP address.

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Connecting+to+Crowd+or+JIRA+for+User+Management

Look at Connecting Confluence to JIRA for User Management section in the above link

Hope this helps

Regards

Anand
