Add "Additional Field" to Time Tracking Report

Hi. Is it possible to add a "Additional Field" option in the "Time Tracking Report" confiuguration? This report is available under the Projects dashboard.

We would like to be able to run the report using extra filter criteria.

You can't do it. You will have to write custom reports and needs development effort.

Hi Jobin, Thanks for your reply. For custom repots, do you mean running SQL queries from the Jira DB tables or is there an option in Jira Admin that provides this custom report function?

I meant writing plugins. SQL queries is one option but it is not user friendly ;)

You can look at existing plugins in marketplace and Tempo is certainly a good one for time tracking.

Hi, you might be able to get what you want with Tempo Timesheets. If you can't, then let us know!

Tempo is a great plugin, we use it a lot. But the bad thing is that you can t add custom fields to the Tempo reports as columns to show adittional information. The only columns you can add are the worklog attributes.
