how to view attached files?

I have the file attachments from Microsoft office family and others. When i click on the file it is prompting me to save the file opposed to viewing using installed application on my pc. Any way to fix this behavior?

That's your browser, it's been told to save files, rather than try to open them.  Should be able to change the settings.
