When copying a Confluence page the link to the embedded draw.io diagrams was broken. How can I now recover the diagrams?

When copying a Confluence page in Confluence Cloud the link to the embedded draw.io diagrams was broken. The diagrams still display in the copied page but when I edit the macro the diagram can't be found. How can I now recover the diagrams?

How did you copy the page? If the built-in page copy does not copy over the attachments on the page, I'd say that's a bug on Atlassian's side.

Hi Chris,

try the following:

  1. Enter the new page
  2. Edit the page
  3. Insert a "Draw IO" macro
  4. On the "Draw.IO" popup go to the "last opened" Page and choose the copied diagram.

That sometimes works smile
