What is the best way to measure usage of Confluence Questions?

Francis Jones May 11, 2015

The Usage Statistics for Confluence Questions are very very basic. Is there another way to get usage statistics out of the tool?

For instance, getting exact numbers of monthly questions asked and exact numbers of monthly active users.

Right now "active users" are classed as any user who has ever commented, answered, asked, or voted in the tool.

Hi Francis,

I'm not sure what version of the Confluence Questions plugins you're currently using, but as far as I know the latest versions should already have some expanded analytics resources.

However, we currently have a request in progress with our development team to implement more statistics. I suggest you vote, watch and comment for this request providing some details on the resources you would like to have.

Also, it's worth checking the possibility of using Google Analytics plugin: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.go2group.plugins.confluence-ga

If you have any questions, please let us know.

Kind regards,
