Favourite spaces are not updating in the dashboard

Favourite spaces which I used to see all the updates under "Favourite Spaces" tab on my dashboard is not getting updated.


Please let me know the reason and workaround so that the recent update date/contents should be get changed periodically under "Favourite Spaces" tab on my dashboard .

Did this work prior to an update? Can you let us know what version of Confluence you are running?

Lastly, does triggering an index display the recently added Favorite Spaces?

Yes this was working prior to an update.


Confluence version is 5.8.18.


Can you please brief me on triggering an index display?




You can do so in the Confluence Index Administration.

  1. Use the Cog icon and click on General Configuration.
  2. Choose Content Indexing under the heading Administration.
  3. Click the Rebuild button.

We are running Confluence 5.8.10 and we are having the same issue.  Is there a way to automatically update the "Favorite Spaces" list?

Hi Mark,

This should automatically update on its own whenever indexing is automatically run on Confluence. Can you confirm you have manually reindexing Confluence?

You can also try rebuilding the indexes from scratch and see if your results populate after that.
