Confluence: General Menu Settings

Serafim Herts April 2, 2014

Hi,

I'm searching for solution to hide buttons in general menu in my Confluence Wiki.

It is necessary to get Spaces and Browse buttons hidden from all users excluding adminisrators.

I can see that Browse button is hidden in Confluence Doc page. But it is enabled if cursor is located close.

Could you, please, answer, is it possible to make that buttons hidden?

If it is impossible, please tell me how to get solution, such as hidden Browse button in Confluence Doc page =)

Hi Serafim,

The way we hide some of the buttons and menus in our documentation is using some custom space CSS.

If you're an OnDemand customer I'm afraid you wont be able to use custom CSS.

If you want to have a look at our stylesheet, you can find it on Bitbucket here bitbucket.org/atlassian/atlassian-documentation-stylesheet and see how we hide some elements of the UI.

Hi Rachel!

Thank you for your answer!

The page you linked returns the 404 error.
