Question with warning when installing add-on

Hi,.

I'm looking to install an add on for access to some predefined templates, however, I receive this warning message:

I checked the link to the devs site but found no related statement. Is this type of thing common? Is this safe?

What kind of data can/may be stored outside of my confluence cloud?
