Is there a single Balsamiq licence for JIRA and Confluence?

Christian Gutknecht November 8, 2012

We intend to use Balsamiq for JIRA and Confluence (both OnDemand). Do we really have to buy the two licences:

  • Balsamiq for JIRA
  • Balsamiq for Confluence

Or will the licence of one, gives the opportinity to use it also in the other part?

Best regards

Chris

Hi Chris,

Balsamiq has different licenses for Confluence and JIRA, and the one for JIRA won't work in Confluence and the other way around, so I'm sorry to say that you will need to purchase a license for each.

All the best,
John

Thanks John.

Personally I think it's pretty weird to have a pricing according the amount of users and at the same time also differ between the target systems. I would prefer to get some kind of "cross-licence" and pay per user.
