Inspector Sketch Limited to one artboard per confluence page?

Greg Elofson October 4, 2017

We're looking at switching from Zeplin.io to using the inspector sketch plugin. But, it seems unstable and worse, it appears that you can create only one "inspector sketch" rendering per confluence page. When i try to add a second sketch-measure-plugins-spec export the same inspector sketch image just appears on the confluence page.

Are others having the same experience? Has anyone found a workaround?

The screenshot below shows the png file for the artboard, and above it the two inspector sketch blobs that each render the same output (regardless of trying in insert a second style of artboardScreen Shot 2017-10-04 at 9.59.54 PM.png

Hi Greg,

yes that's probably right. You can only add one single Sketch Measure export per Confluence page. Because we currently only checking if a index.html exists and we can't differentiate between more than one file. But you can have more than one Artboard within one Sketch Measuere export, maybe that could be a solution for you?

We're sorry that you have trouble using Inspector Sketch, but please keep in mind it's not a commercial or paid product and we've created it within 24hours at a hackathon and we thought maybe this could be a help for others too.

What is your intention to do? Why do you need more than one Inspector Sketch file on a single Confluence page?

Best Tobias
