Forms for Confluence: Email Notification for New Form (While Still Using "Internal Database")

Paul LaBarbera March 25, 2016

Hi there,

I'm setting up a form using "Forms for Confluence". I want to have a form that stores data within Confluence, but also sends an email notification when a new form is submitted.

If I select "email relay", it sends a notification but doesn't store the results in Confluence, does it?

How can I do this? i want the results stored in Confluence, but email notifications sent out.

Hi @Paul LaBarbera,

Hope this finds you well. If you wish to have the responses stored in the Internal Database and also have the email sent out on submitting the form, you will have to create two Form ID's. One of collector type Internal Database and the other of collector type Email Relay. While creating the form, please include both the Form ID's against the Destination in the Forms Macro. By doing so, you will see the responses in the Internal Database and also receive emails at the same time. Hope this helps.
