Cannot see all team members assigned to tickets in Portfolio view. Edited

I'm using JIRA Portfolio and have created a team. However, when I look at the Portfolio 'Scope' tab, some tickets do not have a team member associated with them despite a user being assigned to the ticket.

Any idea what might be causing that?

It can be any number of things that may prevent an assignee from showing on an explicitly assigned item in Jira. Here are a few questions to start. 

  • Do you have Import Issue Assignee Level set on the Plan Configuration under the Scheduling menu?
  • Are all possible Assignees Members of the Team? 
  • What is the Maximum assignees per story set to? 
  • What is the Issue Status? 
  • Is Enforce Concurrent Work set to Off? 
  • Also, hitting the calculate button may help as well.
