One of our Opsgenie users has an Pixel 8 Pro running Android 14 and is seeing this message after downloading the Opsgenie App and logging in. The full message is:
"Your device is not registered to Opsgenie yet to receive notifications, therefore you cant't update your notification sounds. You can retry registration process or refresh the page later."
They have tried uninstalling the app and re-logging in but nothing seems to help. They always see this message and their device is never registered as a contact method.
The apps My profile page shows them as logged in. The apps Contact methods page is completely blank and not showing any of the contact methods they originally setup on the opsgenie webpage. Its seems like there is an issue syncing data between the app and opsgenie's services.
Has anyone run into this issue before?
Thanks
@Matthew Deeds welcome! you might take a look at this thread: https://support.atlassian.com/opsgenie-ios/docs/troubleshooting-for-ios/
This is an android device but I did already look at this page: https://support.atlassian.com/opsgenie-android/docs/troubleshooting-for-android/
None of the issues described on this page are similar to what we are seeing.
The closest one just says to "Restart the app to trigger a retry manually."
This hasn't helped.
