assign a new owner to Opsgenie

How about how can I assign a new owner to Opsgenie, change the owner in Jira Service Desk and now I get an email that I should change the owner?
"Opsgenie account requires at least one owner. If you would like to remove ############@mi######.com.mx, please assign a new owner to your Opsgenie account."

hello @Técnico,

Thank you for reaching out!  User roles in Opsgenie are managed within Opsgenie itself.

To make a user become an Owner,  go to Settings (in Opsgenie) > then to Users page. Only an Owner can change the role of another user to Owner.

I'm facing the same, how to change the owner user? how to go to Opsgenie? please help, I receive many emails from Opnsgenie to ask me to change the owner.

Thank you for the question. 

If you are an Opsgenie Admin or Owner, you will be able to change the role of another user in Opsgenie Settings > Users via the dropdown under the Role column for the user.  The constraint is that you will only be able to promote a user up to your role level. 

If your Opsgenie account has no Owner, or if the Opsgenie Owner is no longer with the Company, please feel free to reach out to Opsgenie Support via the blue Chat bubble on the bottom right of your Opsgenie screen or open a ticket via https://support.atlassian.com/contact so that we can help look into your particular situation.

Hi @Técnico ,

Only Owners can assign other users as Owners through the Opsgenie account.

If for some reason there are no Owners shown under the Settings tab >> Users tab, please open a support ticket with Opsgenie support here: https://support.atlassian.com/opsgenie/
