How to get JSM issue key in OpsGenie payload to Edge Connector

We have set up an integration that will create a JSM incident from an on-premise monitoring tool via OpsGenie.  Once an incident is closed in JSM, I would like to write the JSM issue key in to the on-premise SCOM alert.  Is there a document that shows the available payload that is sent from OG to Edge Connector?

Hi there,

This is Arumugam from Atlassian Support and I'm happy to help!

I understand that you would like to see the default payload sent from Opsgenie to Opsgenie Edge Connector.

If you are using our default OEC scripts from our repository we print the payload we receive in the file called output.txt under <installation directory>/opsgenie/output or you can find the location of this file by checking your configuration specified in config.json under <installation directory>/opsgenie/oec/conf folder.

If you are using a custom script, please note that we pass the queue payload as an argument and the argument name is called --queuePayload and depending on the script you use, you can log this to your preferred output file.

If the JSM key is already appended to your alert in Extra properties or any other alert field, then you can get the value from payload and can use it.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any specific follow-up questions.

Thanks,

Arumugam
