I am trying to find a way for a JSM agent to create an incident within OpsGenie when that agent "raises an incident" or marks an incident within JSM as "Major". I have read that a lot of the incident management control is moving to all be within JSM, but there are features within OpsGenie, like the incident timeline, etc, that I want to leverage which JSM does not provide. I cannot find a good way to integrate the two in this direction. Any ideas?
Hi Evan,
You can create Opsgenie incidents by first creating an alert using the incoming rules in the JSM integration (first screenshot), then creating an incident rule which will automatically create incidents from incoming alerts, based on the filters you specify (second screenshot)
Thanks for the response. Where do you create that incoming automation rule? I cannot seem to find it.

The incoming automation rule can be found by going to the Jira integration and clicking "add rule" under the "incoming automation rules" section
