Hi there, is there a way we can configure the email notifications "From" email address to be something like "sys.alerts@mycompany.com" instead of the standard opsgenie@opsgenie.net email address?
Hi @Edmundo Rangel ,
There isn't a way to change which email address we send our notifications from. Could you clarify why you're looking for it to come from a different address?
Thanks,
Samir
Thank Samir, we want to send automated notifications to customers/stakeholders and they must be coming from a @mycompany.com address, cannot be coming directly from opsgenie. Is there an integration between opsgenie and external email services to push notifications instead?

Thanks for clarifying @Edmundo Rangel !
We don't have a way to send alert notifications from a different address.
However on the incident management side of Opsgenie, on the enterprise plan we offer free stakeholders. Stakeholders can be your customers, or other internal people in your company who need to be notified of incidents (i.e. issues that cause performance issues, or outages. Different from your regular alerts).
Stakeholders are intended to be people who need to be notified when something serious is going on, but not people who will be responding and working to resolve the issues
Stakeholders can receive notifications of incidents via email, and you can create a custom Stakeholder Email Notification Template, where you can customize the email display name that the email notifications will come to for these notifications.
We don't offer any sort of integration with an external email service for alerts. Alerts can only send emails users in Opsgenie as alert notifications, we don't have any sort of outbound email integration or anything like that.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you have anymore questions.
Thanks,
Samir

Thanks Samir, yes I think the email template will suffice, we will soon move to Enterprise license.
