Unable to see epic panel in backlog or board

Hi, I've set up a next-gen project. Set up epics and issues. I can see epic tags in the backlog view. However, I am unable to see the epic panel on the left? I've checked high n low in settings, can't seem to find it. It seems I'm missing something obvious here

Epic panel is not available yet on Next gen projects. However we have an open support request for it: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-17564

Please 'watch' and 'vote' for it.

Is this only available to specific customers?
