How do you set up boards for repeating workflows?

Malte Gabriel June 30, 2020

Our Team regularly tackles projects that are largely comparable. In our case, it is onboarding and the subsequent processing of data sets. Setting up Jira boards anew feels tedious as 90% of all issues / tasks are identical.

How have folks set up Jira to support repeating projects?

Our ideal solution: define a new project (i.e., data set) as a new epic (i.e., workstream), that then automatically pulls in a set of standard issues / tasks. Have you tackles this successfully? What tips and tricks do you have?

Hi @Malte Gabriel ,

I've recently published an article about that topic in the Atlassian Community. It's about one of our apps Deep Clone for Jira, that enables you to bulk clone and move issues.
