ad hoc list of issues

Is it possible to create an ad hoc list of issues:

• imagine I've got a short list of issues in front of me ... found via a custom filter
• I want to follow them all ... and have updated that setting; life's good in this regard
• apart from this, I'm particularly interested in, say, 10 of the 30 found issues
  • ... and I'm not permitted to add issue- settings or criteria such as labels,etc.
• is there a way to create an ad hoc list?
• ... other than the brute force approach of listing the individual issues in an advanced filter

All thoughts appreciated.

Hi @Scott McNally welcome to the Atlassian community.

These are my thoughts, configure a new issue type-"actions or give some name like adhoc issues". When ever you feel to follow the 10 adhoc list, you can either "label" or "flag" them or change the issue type to "action" (or similar name you give).

There is the ability to flag an issue. If that's not what you're looking for you could use the Labels field and then filter on the Label you created.
