Reporting - for Project managers

Jemma Phillips November 28, 2019

Hi all

Apologies is this has been asked / answered before -but I am new to Jira :)

I am looking at the burnup, sprint burndown and flow diagrams on Jira.

In the sprint report I can see an automatically calculated Guideline (line in grey).

I wonder how I can get one (if I can get one) in the Burn up report?

Basically I create in excel or other my project plan and that is my baseline to deliver - I want to enter or have it calculated in Jira so we can see how far on/off track we are going or projected to go.

I hope that makes sense!

if anyone can help point me to an article or anything it would be appreciated!

Yes I can see that is it there now - but on the Burndown I have nothing - is that because I havent applied story points?

Hi @Jemma Phillips

Yep - if there's no estimates, it won't be able to provide you a suggested velocity for completion.

Hi @Jemma Phillips

Is this the burn-up in Jira Cloud Scrum Board?

If so it should be there by default - which estimate option are you using to visualise work on the burn-up chart?
